in order to和in order that的区别

in order to和in order that的区别是什么

in order to和in order that都可以用来表示目的,但它们在用法上存在一些差异:

in order to后面直接接动词原形,构成目的状语,可以放在句首或句中。例如:"He got up early in order to catch the early bus."(为了赶上早班车,他今天早上起得很早。)

in order that后面则要跟一个完整的句子,构成目的状语从句,通常放在句首。例如:"I study hard in order that I can have a good future."(为了能有个美好的未来,我努力学习。)

在引导目的状语从句时,in order that和so that可以互换使用,但in order that引导的从句可以放在句首,而so that引导的从句不能放在句首。
