you ____ it in the wrong place.
A.should have put B.might have put
A是本不该做而做了，B是可能做了
我觉得a也可以啊？为什么不对？
should have有建议性，eg.Where is my dictionary ?I remember I put it here yesterday ---you should have put it in your room,then it won't be lost.可以体会出吗？should have 往往向好的方面建议。而might have 则是一般的推断。

在汉语里 “应该”也有“也许”的意思
英语里should表示应该，语气比较强硬，而不是猜测的意思
